Over six million Europeans are Nordic Walking with special Nordic Ski Walking poles (all ages and fitness levels ALL). This amazing new turbo charge the exercise regime normal running. Not only does Nordic Walking burn up to 40% more calories than regular walking, improves posture and automatic operation reduces stress to the shins, knees, hips and back. Use the correct length poles encourages improved walking posture, while the poles and arms to absorb an impressive amount of confusion that has often hit the shins, knees, hips and back. Nordic Walking is ideal for athletes, children, adults of all ages and even people with balance problems.

Four years ago I started SKIWALKING.COM and immediately received hundreds of emails and cards of thanks from satisfied customers – including people with bad knees / new Bad / new hips, back problems and problems equilibrium. A lady called me during the fall 2004 and asked if the poles would improve their balance problems from an inner ear problem. I told him I was not sure, but I disagree with her several impressive success stories people with knee, hip and / or back problems. Use the correct length poles was able to navigate the roughest terrain with balance and security offered by poles. She managed to use my Swix VIP Nordic Walking Poles for over two years.

While hosting Nordic Walking the gym in Traverse City, Michigan I was introduced to Michelle Honer. Michelle had signed up to attend one of my ski lessons on foot. When you walk on the handicap ramp prior to the class with her cane is obvious that there were some problems with balance and informed her classmates that have MS. Our 1st Ski Walk only some few blocks away and back. Within several weeks they covered about 2 miles per hour.
For seven years before Michelle had ridden an electric scooter tour of the city of MS Walk. The last years Michelle has Ski walk the 5km (3.1 miles). Local newspapers and television stations have covered her remarkable story.

"My Special Nordic Walking Stick allowed me to go higher, faster, farther and with much more stability than with my cane. Its one-piece design is much better than my old adjustable poles that erupted unexpectedly in a very embarrassing, "said Michelle.
Michelle is now a ski ambassador for Walking SKIWALKING.COM and proudly wears Ski Walking its organic cotton T-shirt, while many of my visits to Nordic Walking clinics.
Michelle's success with the clinics walking sticks me encouraged free hosting Nordic Walking at meetings of the Support Group MS. He also suggested contacting the Jimmie Heuga Center in Colorado. The Heuga Center is dedicated to helping people with MS to live healthier and happier.

I received thank you letters and e-mails every day from customers extremely happy. Examples wonderful couple:

I have just returned from a 14-day tour London and Ireland. I been able to do almost everything with my ski poles or "sticks" as they say in England and Ireland. I could not have considered this trip without my "walking sticks" and I'm happy for them. I hope all Parkinson's patients may use the "stick".

Another again, thank you for giving me once in a lifetime adventure a reality.

We've been walking all day Ski, I was really surprised to see Linda, if did not know he has MS and problems associated with the door that most patients with MS have, I would not have believed it! She walks "normal" what ever that is? Your poles are great!

My husband bought me your poles for my birthday last week. I love them. I have multiple sclerosis and walks with a limp and the balance is off sometimes. Now I walk in the park on a brisk walk every day for about 1 1 / 2 miles. Thank you very much. They make a big difference in my walk. I said this is the best birthday present I ever bought me. Thank you again.

Sounds like by magic, but it's just good physics. The key is using "perfect length" poles.
Perfect length poles automatically help us to walk with your back straight super – better posture, walking is biomechanically a good thing. This improved walking posture when combined with the unique 4-Wheel-Drive type action of walking with poles radically reduces the stress to the shins, knees, hips and back. Nordic Walking is low impact and yet provides a very effective training – you burn more calories and working more muscle groups than regular walking.
I recommend quality a pole piece that will not collapse if unexpected. The first part of the poles are safer, lighter and more durable than adjustable / telescoping / collapsible poles. Adjustable / telescoping / collapsible poles should NEVER be recommended for anyone with a balance problem. Hundreds of walkers have collapsed when their telescoping poles unexpectedly collapsed, causing serious injuries.

According to Nick Mahood, SWIX USA Nordic Walking Director, "Pete Edwards, SKIWALKING.COM 's owner / alone without the help of thousands of Americans who presented to Nordic Walking through his free clinics! I have no doubt that Edwards is the # 1 retailer of Nordic Walking Poles in the USA! You can quote me on that! "
