How much is a vintage phillipson fly rod worth?
I have acquired, from my great-uncle, an 8′6″ Phillipson Deluxe fly rod. It is fiberglass. I haven’t found much info at all on this model. But it’s to my understanding that it is among the first fiberglass fly rods created. I think this rod is from the 1950s It came right after the bamboo era. I always see other various phillipson fly rods listed on ebay selling for hundreds. Is anyone familiar with these Phillipson fly rods? I know they are very reputable.
