Any advice on Rossignol XC skis?
I have some skis – Rossignol X-Tour 45-45-45 risk. They scale on the bottom so I suppose they need not be polished with wax to kick less. I just think they are very slow. Somewhere on the net, I read them can be used in both classical and skating styles. But when I try to skate with them (10-0C-temp.) It feels just so hard to get ahead. Everything opinion on this? Yes, I use those for some years and when I got them these skis are not the latest models that I understood.
The X-Tour line from Rossi is a classic ski. It is designed to be used primarily on track and light ski off-piste. I do not remember if they have a metal edge or not. They are primarily intended to be used with a kick-and-glide motion and are not the best for skating. Copy must be at least several years because the current line has nothing to these dimensions. Now, even children's skis are wider than 45-45-45.
