would Salomon s916 bindings work with the new K2 extreme skis?
basically i’m wondering what the brake width is cause i think that the waist on my k2 extremes are 100mm. also do you think that these bindings would go well with these skis? I do mostly off piste skiing, moguls, powder, and hucking. The only reason that i’m looking at these bindings is because i can get them for a good price, but if you don’t think these bindings will work well what are some good alternatives?
That would work just fine. The Salomon comes with a 96 mm wide break so the guys at the shop can give it a little love and it will fit just fine. As for Salomon being around, yes they are and they will be. Not too sure where he got that, Salomon make great bindings. The 916 is a heavy binding and will be able to take the abuse.
