My old ski bindings on snow skis into newer model?
I have links from a few years ago that are on Elan Parabolic skis, are Soloman 800 bindings (I really like them), I was wondering if they will enter the new Soloman 1080 Foil skis, Rossignol or Phantom SC74.
For reasons other than pocket money, I always find such questions embarrassing. Why put "Obsolete" bindings on skis new? I know you may try to save a few dollars, but why put yourself at risk. Next year, the Shop may not be able to make an exit check on them due to the issue of compensation Jim W. mentioned above and you'll end up having to replace anyway. So you're going to be holes where the old bindings mounted or simply fill the holes of old and new skis look like crap.
